As the official state affiliate of the National Association for Gifted Children, our mission is to promote programs, networks, and legislative actions to meet the needs of gifted learners statewide.

The NJAGC Advocacy committee seeks to build knowledge and awareness, foster relationships and connections, and promote equitable access and outcomes. You can get involved with the NJAGC Advocacy Committee whether you are a student, parent, educational professional, or just a passionate, dedicated individual looking to make an impact. Advocating can take on many forms, from simple self expression to leadership roles in any aspect of gifted education. Join us in supporting gifted ed (and each other!) as we work together to make a positive difference for gifted students in your family, school, district, or across the state!
This committee supports gifted educators who want to create enrichment opportunities for gifted learners, We would like to extend a warm welcome to all GT teachers, coordinators, supervisors, guidance counselors, and administrators who are part of districts in the southern end of the state (Burlington County and south) to join the newly formed South Jersey GT Consortium! NJAGC’s Social Media committee shares gifted education support and information via social media outlets including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and Twitter. This committee also creates areas of publicity to maintain membership, inform members, and advocate for gifted education through social media.

Send information about places, events and resources that you have enjoyed and that may be of interest to families of gifted students and educators, to Lenore Argen at argenl@njagc.org We do focus on New Jersey, but members are also excited to learn about events in NYC, Philadelphia and other surrounding cities and states, as well as international opportunities! Your input will be appreciated by all who enjoy this publication!
